About me
Dr. Lupe Gomez holds a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California (USC) and has served in various capacities in the Santa Ana Unified School District. Her journey in education began as an instructional assistant and includes roles as an Elementary Educator, Literacy Coach, Certificated Learning and Achievement Specialist (CLAS), Coordinator of Professional Development, and school site Principal. As the current Director of Community Schools, she leverages these experiences to foster a collaborative environment that integrates community resources and ensures rigorous, community-connected classroom instruction. Her work is rooted in the belief that powerful student and family engagement, collaborative leadership, and a culture of belonging are essential for thriving school communities.
