Emily Wolk received her Ph.D. in Education from Claremont Graduate University. Emily has taught in Santa Ana Unified School District schools for nearly 20 years prior to moving to her work in research and evaluation. Now, she currently serves as the Executive Director in the Research and Evaluation department for the Santa Ana Unified School District. She has extensive experience supporting education programs and accountability systems including several large-scale state and district initiatives. She supervises program evaluation, the analysis of district-wide and site-level instructional programs and curriculum, district-wide assessment systems, the SAUSD data warehouse, and department operations which includes analysts, program specialists, and support staff. Her areas of expertise include research and program evaluation design and methodology in educational settings, the use of data and program evaluation to improve student outcomes and school systems and professional development in these related areas.
